Job Description:

An industry-leading global payments company is hiring a talented, experienced payments team manager to lead the team of on-boarding and underwriting.  As the payments team leader you will develop and manage the team while maintaining large scale demands from regulators, compliance officers, risk managers and business partners. In addition, you will help create and implement a new underwriting product.


Responsibilities:

Manage a team of payment reviewers.

Take charge of the team's strategy and consolidate different procedures into one flow.

Collaborate with product and project managers when creating new products.

Help define new automated rules to improve the team's efficiency.

Collaborate with customer support and community teams.


Requirements:

  • Experience managing on-boarding and/or underwriting teams in the online / payment industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management / Economics or related field.
  • Managerial experience - a must.
  • 2+ years of experience in a client facing position either in an online company or in a financial institution.
  • English at a mother tongue level.
  • Adaptable and able to change with the environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and analysis experience.
  • Organized, responsible, dependable, precise.
  • Great interpersonal skills, fast learner and detail oriented.
  • Motivated, results oriented, multitasking, able to prioritize and self manage to efficiency.
  • Monday - Friday workweek - preferred.
