Job Description:

A highly successful software monetization and advertising company located in the heart of Tel-Aviv is looking for an experienced data scientist to join their fast-growing team. The data scientist will develop predictive models for big data and constantly provide analytical insights.


Responsibilities:

Build cutting edge predictive models leveraging the company's big data framework.

Generate actionable insights related to customer behavior and preferences.

Research patterns and rules including clustering, regression analysis, machine learning, decision trees, collaborative filtering, matrix factorization and more.

Leverage data processes and infrastructure to develop proofs-of-concept of new big data solutions or capabilities.

Research, simulate and prototype new algorithmic product features answering business requirements.

Independently tackle broad, platform wide business or technical issues, providing high value with little supervision.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of research / industry experience
  • Master or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Programming languages abilities - an advantage.
  • Experience in using at least 4 machine algorithms - regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, look alike methods, etc.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java or other object oriented language.
  • Willingness to dig into large amounts of data and construct tools or models.
